The Rotary Club of Highlands sponsors a lively game of Bingo each month at The Community Building and the game on September 7 will benefit Highlands Wreaths across America.

Boy Scout leader Phil Potts, who is the project coordinator, says this will be the first year the scouts are participating in this national event to honor veterans at Christmas. Highlands scouts are now part of the national network of volunteers who have laid over 700,000 memorial wreaths at 1,000 locations in the U.S. and beyond. All funds raised at the Bingo game will help with expenses and wreath purchases and the Christmas wreaths will be placed on veterans’ graves at the Highlands Memorial Park on December 16.
