Everyone interested in good digestive health is invited to a special hands-on fermentation workshop at Albert Carlton-Cashiers Community Library, from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. Friday, October 20.

Nationally-recognized nutritionist Medea Galligan will show participants how to prepare fermented foods. Participants will be able to take home some of their own creations at the end of the workshop.

Fermented foods are a special group of foods that have gone through a fermentation process, creating a deliciously pickled or strongly flavored condiment, food or drink.
