Ezra Gardiner welcomes CLE to the Old Edwards Inn vegetable gardens. The irrigated raised beds provide a great variety of vegetables to fill 50% of OEI’s need for fresh, organically grown produce. Ezra’s knowledge and enthusiasm are contagious and will inspire you to begin/or expand your raised bed garden on the Highlands plateau.

Presenter: Ezra Gardiner is Head Farmer at Old Edwards Inn overseeing the gardens at Sequoia Lake and at Cherrywood including greenhouses and hoop houses. He is responsible for cultivating vegetables and herbs to support the culinary offerings throughout Old Edwards. Outside of work, Gardiner enjoys living on a small farm outside of Franklin, where he and his wife keep Icelandic sheep, poultry and propagate and grow heirloom vegetables.
