The Village Green is proud to present a new event this season, Pots On the Green. This two day celebration of pottery and ceramic art will be from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 24 and Sunday, June 25.

This rough and tumble string band with hearts of gold cites a broad range of influences, drawing from a unique blend of sounds rooted in rock, outlaw country, bluegrass, folk, and singer-songwriter music. With two extremely talented banjo (Joey Fortner) and fiddle (Alma Russ) players accompanying the soulful voice of Colby Deitz, they have an authentic Appalachian sound forged in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Deitz’s (former lead singer of Mangas Colorado) unrelenting performance and tactful songwriting will leave you either on the verge of tears or on the edge of your seat.   more
