Creative Workshop and Cocktail Party: Making a Birdhouse Out of Foraged Materials with CLE Lecture Hall
Back by popular demand, this year with a location surprise! Join us for creativity, cabins and cocktails on this 20 acre property that is home to three historic Joe Webb log cabins built in the 30’s. The many springs and the lake found on the property are the headwaters for Bridal Veil Falls. Basically unchanged since built, the main cabin was featured in Rubin Cox’s photo documentary book “The Works of Joe Webb”. Surrounded by Highlands history, you will design and create a wooden Birdhouse with foraged natural finds from our beautiful Highlands/Cashiers plateau. Mosses, dried flowers, greenery, mushrooms and pine cones along with a few surprises will be available for you to design a masterpiece to display in your home, for years to come. Come create with us and enjoy good company. Complimentary refreshments and libations included. Small groups of 10 are required in this intimate setting.
To encourage maximum participation, two date selections are available. This is not a 2 day workshop.
