We will kick off the ecoEXPLORE Botany Field Season with a plant scavenger hunt along the Botanical Garden trails and the Boardwalk. Participants will work to complete a plant identification challenge while gaining a deeper understanding of the natural world around them.\n\necoEXPLORE is a community science program created by the North Carolina Arboretum\, where children of all ages can learn to identify wildlife around them\, help scientists track wildlife activity\, and earn fun badges and prizes all at once! DESCRIPTION:Our Salon Series happens in our Ruffed Grouse Tavern at the Highlander Mountain House Hotel. \nMake dinner reservations before the show during service hours 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm if you choose\, then enjoy an incredible music performance by Logan Ledger (separate event ticket must be purchased). Parking available on the property or street behind HMH. Seating for the show is first come first serve. \nLedger came to music fairly early: he began singing as a young child and started playing old-time and bluegrass music on guitar at age 12.
