Mayor Taylor will be providing updates and information on the Boys and Girls Club Building Project\, and Town Board Meeting Review. \nCommunity Coffee with Mayor Taylor\, a joint endeavor by Hudson Library and the Town of
 Highlands\, is held on a Friday each month from May through October at Hudson
Library. Every month Mayor Taylor\, regularly joined by guest speakers\, offers information
about topics of interest to the entire Highlands community.

More than a retail store\, we are a community service offering carefully sorted donated books to provide the best quality at a used bookstore price.

DESCRIPTION:Poet and art historian LuLu Johnson signs copies of her debut chapbook\, The Higher Call\, a collection that gives voice to Pablo Picasso’s most famous muses\, drawn in part from her own years working as a life model. \nAcross fifteen poems\, Johnson explores longing\, betrayal\, and the cost of sitting still long enough to be made immortal in art. Johnson holds an MFA in Poetry from Georgia State University and now lives in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains. Copies of The Higher Call will be available for purchase and signing.
