Gratitude from the PAC

Highlands Performing Arts Center reflects on a vibrant year made possible by generous community support and shared belief in the power of the arts.

As the year draws to a close, the Highlands Performing Arts Center pauses to extend its deepest gratitude to the generous community, patrons, and volunteers whose support has made this season our most vibrant yet.

Simply put, we could not fulfill our mission to inspire creativity, foster connections, and celebrate the transformative power of the arts without you. Your generosity has ensured that the PAC remains not just a venue, but the cultural heartbeat of the Highlands-Cashiers Plateau.

This year, your commitment allowed us to host an extraordinary breadth of programming that catered to every interest and age group. We had another exciting year of our popular Concert Series, featuring world-class live music across all genres.

Beyond the stage, we continued our highly valued cinematic and theatrical partnerships, presenting the global excellence of The Metropolitan Opera Live in HD, National Theatre Live, and Great Art on Screen. These programs ensure our audience has front-row seats to the world’s finest performances without ever leaving Macon County.

Moreover, your contributions support the PAC’s critical roles as an educational hub and a resource for local creativity.

We proudly hosted the inaugural Highlands Film Festival, celebrated Special Events, and kept our local screens illuminated with quality programming through Highlands Cinema. Crucially, your funds fuel our Educational Theatre initiatives, providing developmental opportunities for youth, and maintain our rehearsal spaces for Companies in Residence, supporting the creation of new performing art right here in Highlands.

Every ticket purchased, every membership renewed, and every dollar donated translates directly into a more diverse, accessible, and high-quality cultural calendar.

Thank you for believing in the power of the arts. We look forward to seeing you at the PAC next year as we continue to build on this shared success.
