Coro Vocati will perform in a concert on Saturday, July 9, at 7:00 P.M. at Highlands First Presbyterian Church.
The concert performance is entitled “Mysticism in Myth, Metaphor, and Miracle” and will include selections by Brahms, Durufle, Debussy, and others. This 24-member professional chamber choir was founded in 2009 by John Dickson, now director of Choral Studies at Louisiana State University School of Music. The ensemble was formed to showcase the rich talent and choral legacy of the Atlanta area.
In 2014, the group completed its first recording project, “Sweetheart of the Sun.” There is no charge for admission. The group will also be singing during the 11:00 A.M. worship service at First Presbyterian Church on Sunday, July 10.
