Description

In 2016, Millie explored “the rest of the story” of Adam and Eve, Rebecca and Ike (Isaac), Joseph and his multi-colored coat dress and their hilarious food escapades.  This year the saga continues with these she-roes/heroes and a dip into the New Testament. Discover Mary and Martha’s catering kitchen, how the disciples bought a car, and more. What does “testament” really mean? Presenter: Millie Coleman is a Women’s Studies scholar, culinary historian and former Sunday School teacher (both Catholic and Protestant). Her stories and historical artifacts are displayed in the Atlanta History Center’s new, permanent exhibit: Restaurants as Social History. Cost: $25/$35 Coordinator:  Donna Woods
