If you’ve got a Bingo yearning, it’s June calling your name. On June 11, the Gordon Child Care Center is the recipient of proceeds from Highlands Rotary Bingo Night, Thursday, 6:30 to 8:30 P.M.
Coincidentally, bingo-lovers, several days later is National Bingo Day. Bingo is booming all over June!
If you are not familiar with the Gordon Center, it is a high-quality, early-childhood education program, serving young children of local families. The mission is to equip youngsters with skills for academic success and to foster a lifelong love of learning for one and all.
Last year was a tremendous success for the Gordon Center, collecting $9,000.00 from 50 business donors. This year, they are aiming for a perfect $10K. All money goes to The Gordon Center. Fundraiser monies go into the general budget to directly support teachers and classrooms. This is one of the biggest events in Rotary Bingo’s fundraising. Help the project by arriving early and purchasing dinners for your family. Bring the kids. It’s Bingo for everybody!
Justyne Reese, Financial Manager, says, “Come out, have fun, and win. We’ll have a great family environment. Preparers will be there at 5:00 P.M. We’ll open at 6:00 P.M., eat, and start winning at 8:00 P.M.”
