On Monday, June 29, the Cashiers-Highlands Humane Society invites you to be part of an unforgettable evening as the Pawsitively Purrfect Party returns to The Country Club of Sapphire Valley. Set against the timeless beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains, this is more than a gala. It’s an experience shaped by elegance, purpose, and heart.
From the first welcome at 5:00 P.M. to the final paddle raised, the evening unfolds with effortless sophistication, cocktails, a beautifully curated dinner, and a lively mix of live and silent auction offerings. And this year, two extraordinary travel experiences take center stage, a seven-night Tuscan escape for six guests, complete with private villa and chef-prepared dining, and an unforgettable Pinehurst Golf Retreat, where world-class play meets luxury living.
But beyond the setting, beyond the sparkle, lies the true heartbeat of the night.
For the animals.
For the ones who arrive frightened, abandoned, with nowhere else to go. For the ones for whom the Cashiers-Highlands Humane Society is their only hope. Here, on our no-kill campus, they are given more than shelter. They are given time, patience, and the highest level of compassionate care. We do not give up. Not when the days turn into weeks, or weeks into months. Not until every animal entrusted to us has found the one place they were always meant to be… a forever home.
That is what this evening makes possible.
