Highlands United Methodist Church will hold its annual Craft Bazaar on Saturday, October 3. It’s planned to be a day of fun.
The craft bazaar will be held at the church in the Old Fellowship Hall at 315 N Main Street from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. Various crafts and baked items will be available. Fall and Christmas décor and gift sets, crochet animals, dog toys, and quilted totes and bags are just some of the items available for purchase.
It’s a great time to get a head start on holiday shopping. A section devoted to baked goods will include Ms. Wilma’s Cinnamon Rolls, Geri’s Pound Cake, Marge’s Marinara, and Jodie’s Jams and Jellies. Stop by and enjoy a taste of Highlands.
All proceeds will benefit the many ministries at HUMC that serve the community. In addition, funds will support bringing in the camels, which are always a hit at the annual Christmas Parade.
A hot dog lunch will be hosted from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Proceeds from the lunch will benefit the Gordon Center for Children.
Make plans to stop by on Saturday, October 3, to shop and eat for several good causes. Questions? Feel free to call the church office at (828) 526‑3376.
See you there!
