BEE Kind is back for Mental Health Awareness Month this May.
“It is a privilege to collaborate with HCHF and NHF to serve community partners who are addressing this urgent need in Western North Carolina,” said Dr. Susan Mims, CEO of Dogwood Health Trust. “At Dogwood, we believe that everyone deserves to have access to healthy and nutritious food regardless of their circumstance. Serving homebound seniors with healthy and local food is a part of our work toward ending food insecurity in our region.”
Highlands Cashiers Health Foundation’s Grants are Enabling Organizations to Tackle Critical Issues Around the Plateau.
Highlands Cashiers Health Foundation strives to make primary and preventative care available to everyone on the Plateau.
In 2023 Highlands Cashiers Health Foundation awarded grants totaling over $1.4 million to organizations across the Plateau and beyond.
“Grants serve as our primary avenue for making a significant difference in the community,” said Charlotte Muir, Executive Director of the Health Foundation.
