Consider Kaye’s words to be an open invitation to revel in the sounds of Autumn in Highlands – its Outdoor Concert Series.

The Outdoor Concert Series will conclude with the following performances: 

Friday Night Live –
Town Square, 343 Main Street,
6:00 to 8:30 P.M.

Oct. 6 – Silly Ridge

Oct. 13 – The Foxfire Boys

Saturdays on Pine –
Kelsey-Hutchinson Founders Park,
Pine Street, 6:00 to 8:30 P.M.

Oct. 7 – Outlaw Whiskey

Oct. 14 – The Foxfire Boys (5:00 to 7:30 P.M. as part of Highlands Heritage Jamboree)

Pop-Up Pipers –
Saturday, October 7

Since May, the Highlands Bagpipers have performed at a variety of downtown locations the first Saturday afternoon of each month. Their series finale performance will be held between Highlander Mountain House and the Highlands Wine Shoppe from 4:30 to 5:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 7.

For the second year, the Highlands Heritage Jamboree will celebrate and honor the town’s history with traditional music, dancing and more on Saturday, October 14. Residents and visitors will enjoy bluegrass, clogging and bagpipe performances.

Performances at Kelsey-Hutchinson Founders Park will include:

Highlands Bagpipers, 3:30 to 4:00 P.M.

Bailey Mountain Cloggers, a championship dance team from Mars Hill University, 4:00 to 5:00 P.M.

The Foxfire Boys, 5:00 to 7:30 P.M.
