Highlands’ weekly Interlude Concerts continue on Wednesdays, through August 24.
The free concerts, sponsored by First Presbyterian Church and the Episcopal Church of the Incarnation are held on Wednesdays at 2:00 P.M. Dress is casual.
The concerts provide a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life – a time to meditate, relax, and enjoy a variety of music. Visitors to Highlands are especially invited to attend. This year’s lineup includes:
August 3 (Presbyterian Church): Smoky Mountain Brass Quintet, [Internationally Known Group]
August 10 (Episcopal Church): Steven McCluskey, Baritone; Robert Henry, Piano
August 17 (Presbyterian Church): An Afternoon of Classical and Operatic Arias By Georgia State University Vocalists W. Dwight Coleman, Artistic Director
August 24 (Episcopal Church): Todd Skitch, Flutist; Robert Henry, Pianist
