A Trunkful of Beautiful

July in Highlands is a magical combination of gorgeous weather, sparkling colors, and a bustling shopping district. On everyone’s calendars are the trunk shows at Acorns Boutique at Old Edwards Inn and Spa.
On July 7 and 8, Acorns will be featuring Temple St. Clair Jewelry and fabrics by Michael Kane Studios. Temple St. Clair found her passion for creative expression in gold and precious gemstones over 30 years ago. Her company was founded in Florence, Italy, and she partnered with the world’s finest goldsmiths, the centuries-old Florentine Jewelers’ Guild. In 2016, St. Clair was awarded the GEM Award for Jewelry Design, the jewelry industry’s most prestigious honor.
Michael Kane, a self-taught fiber artist is inspired by the earth’s colors and patterns. Each work is hand manipulated and the construction of his finished works of wearable art can be pieced or layered and are sewn with floating fabric, leaving edges that are unfinished and raw.
July 14 and 15 Jude Frances Jewelry will be featured for that weekend’s trunk show. Combining classic elegance with on trend shapes and styles, Jude Frances Jewelry offers something for women of all ages. The endless combinations of her collections include earrings, stackable bangles, layering chains, and stylish rings all created in sterling silver, 18K gold, diamonds, and semi-precious stones.
The final shows of July will be Mark Garland Studio and Safia Jewelry, July 21 and 22.
Mark Garland Studio emphasizes the definite link between art and fashion. Their collection of innovative designers have been trendsetting worldwide. They have international flair and eye-catching silhouettes to fit every woman.
Safia Day Jewelry is a fusion of styles all drawn from nature. Trained at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, Safia Day says, “The most important thing I came away with was the realization that beauty is a feeling.” Her jewelry will make every woman indeed feel beautiful.
