Trunk Shows at Acorns

The Highlands season doesn’t officially begin until Acorns Boutique at Old Edwards Inn announces their designer trunk show schedule.
This year, the shows scheduled in June alone will surpass all your expectations. There will be a total of six shows this month with the first two June 3-5.
Planet Clothing will be back with their fabulous, unstructured and extremely flattering line for women. Joining Planet Clothing will be Monies Jewelry, featuring pieces that are bold, brazen and an absolute perfect accessory for the woman who is not afraid to be noticed.
On June 10-12 Lorain Croft Clothing and Elizabeth Locke Jewelry will be showing at Acorns Boutique. Lorain Croft Clothing is a classic line that is modern and sophisticated. Croft began her signature line in the ‘90s while a student at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Each garment is still made by hand in New York.
Elizabeth Locke Jewelry is the perfect accessory to wear with Lorain Croft’s sculptured fabric pieces. Locke draws on a lifelong fascination with the antique jewelry of the Etruscans, Greeks and Romans to create her neoclassical hand-made 19k gold jewelry. Her use of precious and semi-precious stones make her gold pieces truly radiant.
On June 17-19 Acorns will be hosting a new designer to the lineup, Temple St. Clair Jewelry. Temple St. Clair began her partnership with the world’s finest goldsmiths – the centuries-old Florentine jewelers’ guild. It was with her line that Barneys New York inaugurated their fine jewelry department in 1986. She is recognized for her iconic rock crystal pendants and whimsical use of gemstones, which has gained her a devoted following of collectors.
The last trunk show in June features Freida Rothman Jewelry. Rothman is the quintessential born and bred NYC woman raised in the jewelry industry. Many of her newest pieces combine black rhodium plated sterling silver with 14k gold and hand-cut CZ stones, making them fresh and adventurous.
