We’re once again having our annual winter photo competition with the winning photograph being chosen as our cover for next winter’s edition, so grab your camera, capture a memory, and you could become our winner.
Pictured are some of our favorites from the many entries in last year’s contest. One of these might be just the inspiration needed for you to enter your photographs in our contest, so start snapping those shots that capture the beauty and spirit of the season.
Aspiring cover artists should enter their seasonal and magazine appropriate shots at facebook.com/TheLaurelMagazine by March 31. Submitted photos should be high resolution (at least 300 d.p.i.) and must be of the Highlands/Cashiers area. Amateurs and professionals alike are encouraged to enter. Pictures will appear on The Laurel Facebook page and readers can cast a vote for their favorite. The deadline to enter and vote is March 31. The winner will be announced on Facebook and the winning photograph will appear on the 2018 January-February
