Us Against the World

Creek and Church wait for the one home willing to honor the unbreakable bond that carried them through everything.

Before they ever knew safety, it was just the two of them.

Two young brothers, out on their own, in a world that must have felt confusing…and frightening. No sense of where they were. No idea where to go.

They had each other and somehow, it helped them to keep going. And through it all, they held onto one simple truth – “it was us against the world.”

That was the reality for Creek and Church. Until last summer, when they were found wandering as strays in Tuckasegee.

And just like that, their story began to change. In our compassionate care, these two brothers slowly began to experience something new – full tummies, gentle hands, and kind voices.

But even then, one thing never changed.

They still look for each other. They still move together. They still find reassurance in the quiet presence of the one who was there from the very beginning. And that’s why we made them a promise – that their bond would never be broken.

That no matter what came next – no matter who walked through our door – Creek and Church would leave here the same way they’ve faced everything else in life. Together.

And now…they’re waiting.

Waiting for the one person or the one family who will see them not as two dogs – but as one bond.

Creek and Church are one-year-old Coonhound brothers with gentle hearts, sweet souls, and twice the love to give. They must be adopted together. Because some bonds are too strong, too rare, and far too important to ever be broken.

If you believe that love can last a lifetime, come meet two souls who will show you how.
