April and Chuck Galloway, along with April’s parents, Rex and Judy Dillard, established Whistlin’ Dixie in 1995. Through teamwork, faith, determination, and the hard work of dedicated employees who have become family, they have grown the business into the thriving garden center it is today.
Their spacious nursery yard allows them to stock garden and landscaping essentials, including mulch, straw, and soil, throughout the season. Inside the greenhouses, vibrant annuals, perennials, shrubs, and herbs fill the space, providing everything needed to keep landscapes beautiful from summer well into fall.
Much of their inventory is grown right on site, too, meaning plants are already acclimatized to our mountain environment and ready to thrive.
