Renovating Burlingame

The members of Burlingame Country Club have approved a major two-year, multi-phase Renovation Project.
The expansion follows a period of renewed growth at the club due in part to the opening of memberships to non-residents. The projects include major funding for facility updates and modernization, while also expanding casual dining, lounge, and bar areas. Most of the work will be done in the off season to minimize disruption to normal club activities.
Burlingame CC and its membership engaged industry leader The McMahon Group to help develop and introduce the renovation project to the membership.
“The overwhelming approval, 88 percent of members voting, is an industry milestone,” says Bill McMahon. “I have been involved in many projects over the years and this is a remarkable approval rate and truly indicates the Burlingame Country Club and its membership are ready to move forward”.
“Great clubs get lots of use,” says Burlingame General Manager Brian McEnteer, “and that means we need to keep pace with our active membership by keeping amenities fresh, up-to-date and as enjoyable as possible.
“We’re really pleased to have more members in our Burlingame family but with that comes our responsibility to continue to create a great experience for them. This expansion will do that and then some so that we will have many great and truly enjoyable years ahead.”
Improvements to the Golf Course, Lawn Sports Complex and Wellness Center will also be addressed in this project.
