Highlander Mountain House welcomes Chef Michael Izzard this summer for an intimate chef dinner series at The Ruffed Grouse.
Held every other Monday beginning July 20th, each evening will feature a single seating with only 18 guests. The five-course tasting menu highlights seasonal ingredients and fermentation-driven, live fire technique, shaped by Chef Izzard’s path through some of the country’s most respected kitchens, including Acquerello in San Francisco under Suzette Gresham, the Michelin three-star kitchen at Meadowood under Christopher Kostow, and Harbor House Inn on the Northern California coast, where he was part of the team that helped earn the restaurant its second Michelin star.
Expect a menu that leans into bright coastal flavors, slow fermentation, and precise technique expressed through dishes that are thoughtful and layered. Optional wine pairings will be offered to accompany the experience. Dinner is priced at $150 per guest, with pairings available for $60.
