Over the decades, The Church of the Good Shepherd’s annual Bazaar has earned a regional reputation. It’s only natural that it’s mushroomed into the year-round Bazaar Barn, 118 US Hwy 64 West (at Shoppes on the Green).
Known as the “Cheers” of Bookstores, the Bookworm in Highlands is affiliated with the Hudson Library: all books are donated; all staff are volunteers; and all funds go to help support the library. More than a retail store, we are a community service offering carefully sorted donated books to provide the best quality at a used bookstore price.
Admission is $5 and includes skate rentals. Hours are Thursday 3:30 to 8 P.M., Friday 3:30 to 10 P.M., Saturday 1:00 to 10:00 P.M., and Sunday 1:00 to 5:00 P.M.
Half-Mile Farm is thrilled to welcome Rebecca Lang, author of Y'all Come Over and Judge on the Food Network's Chopped Junior for a weekend of Southern Foodie fun.
It's the moment children who are young and old have been waiting for all year!
The park is dark but there is a hum of excitement as people gather and share candy canes and hot chocolate waiting for the program to begin. It's coming together to share traditions of reading the Christmas story, singing carols and wait for it... Santa arrives and Lights the Park with millions of twinkling lights! There is a sense of magic at the first blink of twinkling Christmas lights and that magic will happen at Kelsey-Hutchinson Founders Park.
Evenings set amongst the softly lit trees of the park, joy and laughter from the ice skating rink, it's all available for you throughout the holiday season.
Highlands Saturday Marketplace at the Kelsey Hutchison Founders Park begins on April 1 and is held each Saturday from 8:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M.

The Church of the Incarnation is offering a delicious bar-b-que box lunch for $15/pp. The boxed lunch can be enjoyed in the Fellowship Hall or outside if weather permits.
