Friday Night Live -Ol' Dirty Bathtub at Town Square
The mission of the Food Pantry of Highlands is to provide nutritious food to anyone who meets the income eligibility guidelines for USDA food. In the winter months, the economies of Highlands and Cashiers slow to a standstill. This, combined with increased heating costs, drains funds from the family budget that would normally be spent on food.
Known as the “Cheers” of Bookstores, the Bookworm in Highlands is affiliated with the Hudson Library: all books are donated; all staff are volunteers; and all funds go to help support the library. More than a retail store, we are a community service offering carefully sorted donated books to provide the best quality at a used bookstore price.
Enjoy Trivia night at The High Dive in Highlands on Thursdays!
This local Highlands NC Farmers market opens Saturdays from 8:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. in Kelsey-Hutchinson Founders Park on Pine Street.
Bluegrass Wednesday with Nitrograss is back at The Ugly Dog!
Over the decades, The Church of the Good Shepherd’s annual Bazaar has earned a regional reputation. It’s only natural that it’s mushroomed into the year-round Bazaar Barn, 118 US Hwy 64 West (at Shoppes on the Green).
Enjoy live music Saturday evenings at Town & Country General Store. Gypsy & Me kicks off the series on June 5th, followed by Outlaw Whisky Band on June 12.
