Mayor Patrick Taylor will recognize Dr. Gary Wien, the retiring Executive Director of the Highlands-Cashiers Land Trust. The topic will be: A Dialogue with Dr. Gary Wien: Highlands Future for Conservation and Land Management.
Known as the “Cheers” of Bookstores, the Bookworm in Highlands is affiliated with the Hudson Library: all books are donated; all staff are volunteers; and all funds go to help support the library. More than a retail store, we are a community service offering carefully sorted donated books to provide the best quality at a used bookstore price.
Plush easy chairs, sofas, and antique bistro tables invite you to sit back and embrace the carefree ambiance surrounding you. Live entertainment every Friday and Saturday night.

Highlands Saturday Marketplace at the Kelsey Hutchison Founders Park begins on April 1 and is held each Saturday from 8:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M.
