Friday Night Live -Ol' Dirty Bathtub at Town Square
The mission of the Food Pantry of Highlands is to provide nutritious food to anyone who meets the income eligibility guidelines for USDA food. In the winter months, the economies of Highlands and Cashiers slow to a standstill. This, combined with increased heating costs, drains funds from the family budget that would normally be spent on food.
Highlands Marketplace; This local market opens Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in Kelsey-Hutchinson Founders Park on Pine Street and you’ll want to arrive early for the best selections. Not only will you see your neighbors there shopping, but you’ll see local farmers, crafters, growers, artists, and bakers.
Highlands Nature Center; Stop in to meet their live animals, explore natural history exhibits, peruse the nature-themed gift shop, and more! Admission is free.
Kids Zone features a variety of fun and interesting programs where kids can explore art, nature, science & more! Best for ages 5 and up.
