The Abell Teen Club celebrated four outstanding candidates and selected its 2026 Youth of the Year, recognizing leadership, service, and academic achievement.

In its first‑ever youth exhibition, Drawn to the Plateau, the Boys & Girls Club of the Plateau showcased more than 160 works, now set for an expanded showing at The Bascom.

BGCP’s free nine‑week summer camp runs June 8–August 7 at all three Club locations for rising 1st–12th graders.

The Boys & Girls Club of the Plateau invites the community to enjoy two spring events — the Star Party on April 24 and MayFest on May 16.

On Saturday, August 23, the Songwriters’ Round returns to Cashiers—bringing chart-topping hits and the stories behind them to life in an intimate circle of music, meaning, and mountain magic.

Thanks to a generous troupe of Nashville songwriters and musicians, Blue Ridge School is enriched through Songwriters Round, Saturday, August 23, at the Keller Pavilion at the Boys and Girls Club of the Plateau in Cashiers.

A splash of color and a dash of delirious fun – the Annual Cashiers Kids’ Color Course makes its debut Monday, June 16 at the Cashiers Rec Center Ball Field.

The entire Plateau – boys, girls, parents, supporters, llamas – is invited to join the fun at the Boy & Girls Club’s May Fest, Saturday, May 3, on Frank Allen Road in Cashiers.
