Vin/Yin Yoga at Cashiers Valley Fusion
A gentle blend of Vinyasa Flow and Yin Yoga, this class explores the energies of yang and yin to create more balance and harmony for the mind and body.
Each student is encouraged to move slowly with awareness. The Vinyasa portion of the practice links slow to moderate movement to the breath and is designed to warm the body in preparation for the Yin portion which includes holding poses for 2-5 minutes. The Yin poses allow the connective tissues, muscles and more to stretch slowly to create more space internally.

Classes will run Mondays and Tuesdays, 6 pm to 8 pm and will include dinner and childcare for students and their families.
There are three learning levels: Beginner, Level I, and Level II. The classes are facilitated by trained faculty with experience teaching English to non-native speakers.

Learn to form realistic features and facial expressions that add depth and soul to your work. This ongoing class will teach you how to make a simple clay bust, model realistic faces, and demonstrate surface design and textures.
We will use a basic slab technique, cutting and assembling the pieces to form the bust, neck and head. Additional clay is attached to form the features, clothing and hair. Underglazes may then be applied to begin the process of painting the work with patterns and stencils, to give your piece a unique surface of coloration and design.

Join the Highlands Nature Center for an easy stroll through the Botanical Garden each Wednesday & Saturday this April between 4 and 5 PM to explore what spring ephemerals are blooming. Along the way, you’ll learn tips for identifying them and a little about their unique characteristics.

Balance & Flow Yoga at Cashiers Valley Fusion
Enjoy a warming flow of postures to strengthen and tone the breath, body and mind. This class will include postures that will challenge you physically, create awareness, release tension, and open shoulders, hips and spine for more flexible movement and overall well-being.
Modifications are offered for a safe and fun practice.
This class is suitable for LEVELS 1, 2 and 3 of yoga practitioners. We recommend students new to yoga begin with our Beginner and Level 1 classes first to establish comfort and familiarity of the basics of yoga before moving into any mixed level class.
Class is limited to 15 people and online registration is required.

Accessible for all levels of practitioners this moderately paced Hatha Flow practice of flowing movement linked with breath offers challenges and intensity with modifications and variations in order to meet each practitioner at his or her skill level.
