Fly Fishing Tourney Winners

To benefit the the Town of Highlands Scholarship Fund, the Highlands Three River Fly Fishing Festival was held Thursday, April 28, through Saturday, April 30, in the streams and rivers around Highlands. Casting clinics and the fishing competition along with opening and closing night celebrations comprise the weekend of angler festivities. Listed below are the winners of the competitions. 

Overall Guided Team Winners: Rankin Smith and Dana Toole, guided by Andrew Watson; Overall Non-Guided Team Winners: Leland Shockley and Sofia Lilly; Casting Competition both Distance and Accuracy Winner: Noah Pressler; Biggest Fish: 19 inch Brown Trout, Leland Shockley and Sofia Lilly; Smallest Fish: 3 inch Brook Trout, Danny and JD Hawkes; Ugliest Fish: Noah Pressler (photo by Noah Pressler).
