The Sky Valley Garden Club will be staging its Arts and Crafts Show on Wednesday, July 28, at the Sky Valley Country Club – good news for local artisans, crafters and artists; and the people who love them and their creations.
If you’re in the former category, you’re invited to participate in this event. It’s held indoors and the Garden Club will provide the six-foot table. Exhibitors should provide individual table coverings, and there will be WiFi available for credit card sales.
The event will run from 10:00 A.M. until Noon. If you’d like to participate, you can set up the afternoon before if you wish.
The only cost to exhibitors, other than precious time, is that the Garden Club asks each exhibitor to donate an item that the club can use at raffles, which raise funds for scholarships awarded to area Rabun County students.
If you’re in the latter category, make plans to attend this show. The community is rich in artisans, and they’ll be displaying the creations of their time spent in quarantine, which has proved to be a particularly fruitful 16 months.
