Over the decades, The Church of the Good Shepherd’s annual Bazaar has earned a regional reputation. It’s only natural that it’s mushroomed into the year-round Bazaar Barn, 118 US Hwy 64 West (at Shoppes on the Green).
In 2026, the Cashiers Designer Showhouse celebrates its 29th anniversary — marking nearly three decades of design excellence and community impact. This beloved event welcomes thousands of guests to the Cashiers area during the last week of August to tour an extraordinary home brought to life by some of the South’s most talented designers.
Known as the “Cheers” of Bookstores, the Bookworm in Highlands is affiliated with the Hudson Library: all books are donated; all staff are volunteers; and all funds go to help support the library. More than a retail store, we are a community service offering carefully sorted donated books to provide the best quality at a used bookstore price.
