Known as the “Cheers” of Bookstores, the Bookworm in Highlands is affiliated with the Hudson Library: all books are donated; all staff are volunteers; and all funds go to help support the library. More than a retail store, we are a community service offering carefully sorted donated books to provide the best quality at a used bookstore price.
Over 400 Dahlias will be on display and be judged on their beauty. The Dahlia Depot will also be open in the park on Friday to take in Dahlias and other flowers to be used in Saturday’s displays.
Highlands Saturday Marketplace at the Kelsey Hutchison Founders Park begins on April 1 and is held each Saturday from 8:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M.
There’s something uniquely wonderful about starting your weekend strolling through this colorful marketplace as the dew still glistens on the grass.

Bluegrass music by the Shedhouse Trio (featuring Darren Nicholson), mountain stories, free barbecue, popcorn, ice cream and moonshine!
