If you haven’t wandered through Acorns recently, you’re missing some of the most interesting new arrivals to hit the plateau in a while. Old Edwards’ spirited home décor and gift shop has a gift for discovering makers and lines that feel fresh without being trendy – and the latest additions to its collection are no exception.

The most expansive new addition is the William Yeoward furniture collection by Jonathan Charles – a line that manages the rare feat of feeling both deeply rooted in tradition and completely of the moment. Every piece is handmade, and the range is remarkable in its breadth: mirrors, tables, chests, buffets, bureaus, and more, each available in an array of finishes and styles. The collection reads like a well-edited library – coherent in spirit, endlessly varied in expression. Whether you’re drawn to the sculptural geometry of a console or the quiet elegance of a bureau, these are furnishings with genuine presence. Traditionally inspired, yes, but brought fully into the vocabulary of contemporary decorating.

For those who love linens and ceramics with a story behind them, Pomegranate Home is a revelation. Founded by Angela Beck – whose creative vision was shaped by two very different worlds, the storied paddocks and gardens of Gainesway Farm in Lexington, Kentucky, and the pink sand beaches of Harbour Island in the Bahamas. The line translates her personal sketches into textiles and tableware through the ancient art of block printing in India. The result is something at once exotic and intimate: patterns that feel handmade because they are, colors that seem sun-warmed, pieces that bring genuine warmth and personality to a table or a bed.

Rounding out the new arrivals is Culti Milano, the Italian fragrance house whose approach to scent is as thoughtful as it is refined. Each fragrance is crafted in Italy using a select few ingredients of the highest quality – compositions designed to be timeless rather than trendy, and to sit harmoniously alongside one another, so that layering scents becomes a pleasure rather than a puzzle. The idea is deeply personal: choosing which memory to evoke, which atmosphere to create, in the spaces we inhabit most. Whether in a room diffuser or applied to a beloved object, Culti’s fragrances transmit a quiet sense of wellbeing that is hard to articulate and easy to feel.

Taken together, these new offerings reflect exactly the sensibility that has made Acorn’s a destination rather than simply a shop – a commitment to things made with intention, sourced from makers who care deeply about craft. Stop in and see what catches your eye. Chances are, something will.
