Each winter, Old Edwards turns its attention close to home.

The We Love Locals promotion is a thank-you to the surrounding community and an invitation for residents to rediscover the amenities that define the resort, from luxurious rooms and thoughtful dining to spa experiences designed for real restoration. With reduced winter rates, a spa treatment inclusion, and a handful of well-chosen perks, the program makes it easy to enjoy Old Edwards Inn and Spa or sister property Half-Mile Farm during its most laid-back time of year.

The 2026 We Love Locals promotion runs through March 31 and is available to residents of Macon, Jackson, Transylvania, Clay, Cherokee, Graham, Swain, Haywood, and Rabun counties. A valid local ID is required at check-in, and the offer is available for Sunday-Thursday stays.

Room rates are intentionally approachable. Winter midweek nights at Old Edwards Inn begin at $195, while Half-Mile Farm, the adults-only retreat just outside town, offers rooms starting at $165 per night. The pricing encourages both spontaneous overnights and longer stays, the kind that leave room for late mornings, unhurried dining, and time to simply be on property.

New this season is the inclusion of a 50-minute customized massage or organic facial, a meaningful enhancement that underscores how central wellness is to the Old Edwards experience. The timing is notable. The Spa at Old Edwards was recently named to Spas of America’s Top 100 Spas of 2025, placing it among the top one percent of spa and wellness destinations in North America. The ranking incorporates verified Google Review ratings alongside consumer engagement, requiring all Top 100 spas to maintain a minimum 4.0 rating.

The promotion extends beyond rooms and spa time. Dinner at Madison’s Restaurant includes a complimentary glass of sparkling wine, an understated but celebratory touch that encourages guests to linger.

Locals also receive 25 percent off most merchandise at Acorns, the resort’s shop, and may take advantage of $25 yoga and fitness classes at Old Edwards Fitness Center, making it easy to balance indulgence with movement.

What distinguishes We Love Locals is its sense of intention. Rather than positioning Half-Mile Farm and Old Edwards Inn and Spa as once-in-a-while destinations, the program opens the door for locals to return on their own terms, comfortably and casually, without the expectations of peak season.

Whether it feels like a brief escape or a long-overdue return, We Love Locals offers a chance to experience Old Edwards Hospitality in winter, when the pace is easier, the setting feels even more personalized, and the pleasures of a stay are allowed to unfold slowly.
