Shane Meade is a self‑taught singer‑songwriter from Elkins, West Virginia, who borrowed a guitar from his father and began writing songs in 2000 before leaving the corporate world in 2005 to pursue music full‑time. The band he formed that year has never really stopped moving.
Through a combination of acoustic and full‑band performances, Shane Meade and The Sound has built a loyal following through relentless touring across the Southeast, the Virgin Islands, and cities around the country.

Their touring history includes shared bills with Edwin McCain, Michael Glabicki and Rusted Root, Yonder Mountain String Band, Tim Reynolds, Graham Sharp, and Robert Randolph & The Family Band – artists who collectively span folk, jam, funk, and Americana. That range isn’t accidental. It reflects the band’s own elasticity: they move between styles without the seams showing.

The evening runs from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. and includes complimentary light bites and a cash bar. Tickets are $25 for Old Edwards Inn, Half‑Mile Farm, and 200 Main guests and members, and $50 for the general public.
In the event of rain, the concert moves indoors to Orchard House for continued enjoyment.
