“The Highlands Cashiers Health Foundation expresses profound gratitude for the generous support from Highlands Country Club and the Bob Jones Invitational Golf Tournament,” stated Charlotte Muir, Executive Director of the Health Foundation.
A portion of Sunday’s “Shot at Redemption” ticket sales will now benefit local and regional non-profit organizations·. Abraham Alexander and headliner Lee Fields & The Expressions will perform at the fundraiser, with more special guests to be announced in the weeks to come.
The event is free and open to the public and will take place on Thursday, October 10 beginning at 4pm, with a reception to follow, at 16821 Rosman Highway, Lake Toxaway.

The Bascom's Fiber Club is made up of an enthusiastic community of fiber artists who come together weekly to share patterns and stories at The Bascom. Meetings take place on the Terrace.
Over the decades, The Church of the Good Shepherd’s annual Bazaar has earned a regional reputation. It’s only natural that it’s mushroomed into the year-round Bazaar Barn, 118 US Hwy 64 West (at Shoppes on the Green).
Known as the “Cheers” of Bookstores, the Bookworm in Highlands is affiliated with the Hudson Library: all books are donated; all staff are volunteers; and all funds go to help support the library. More than a retail store, we are a community service offering carefully sorted donated books to provide the best quality at a used bookstore price.
