Late winter on the Highlands-Cashiers Plateau brings a particular kind of quiet – the sort that invites pause, reflection, and a gentle turning inward. At Flat Mountain Farm, that seasonal hush has inspired a wellness series designed to meet the moment.

Co-owners Koble Delmer and Caleb Irby envisioned the program as a way to share the farm during the slower months, opening their homes and land to locals who remain in Highlands year-round and are seeking meaningful ways to gather. Drawing on Delmer’s passion for the wellness world, the offerings emphasize restoration, self-inquiry, and genuine community.

The series began on February 18 with a morning led by Courtney Bowker of Heart of Qi. Her Movement and Sound Bath gently eased participants into the day through mindful movement, tea, and a contemplative walk before settling into deep sound healing. Bowker’s approach wove together breath, vibration, and time in nature, creating an experience that felt less like a class and more like a guided exhale.

On March 11, the Cosmic Healing Women’s Retreat brings Atlanta breathwork practitioner Vaughn Pirro to the farm for a full-day immersion ($350, lodging available separately). Blending breathwork, meditation, and sound practices, the retreat invites women to slow down enough to access inner guidance in a supportive, restorative setting.

March 18 introduces Enlightenment Soleil, an evening devoted to authentic rebirthing breathwork and an inner-dimensional sound journey. Developed with Yoga Highlands, the session brings together Ananda Bologna, Ashby Underwood, and Dr. Nicholas Demetry, whose combined backgrounds span training in both the United States, Europe, and beyond. Positioned at the threshold between seasons, the experience focuses on renewal — releasing what has grown heavy and making space for what is emerging.

Two concluding sessions with Erin D’Elia extend the arc into late March and early April.

The March 25 program, a 90-minute exploration of meditation in motion, invites participants into conscious relationship with the three primary fields of being — mind, emotions, and body.

On April 1, The Art of Letting Go deepens the work: gentle breathwork softens the nervous system before a somatic yoga sequence designed to release stored tension and emotion, creating space for clarity and ease.

Throughout the series, group sizes remain intentionally small, allowing for a sense of connection — both to the practices and to one another. Flat Mountain Farm itself plays a quiet but powerful role. Surrounded by meadows, water, and woodland, the property has long felt like a sanctuary.

Turning Inward offers something increasingly rare: time set aside to listen, reset, and return to daily life steadier than before.
