Join us for stories, music, and movement at Family Storytime, every Thursday morning.
Join a welcoming group of people that understand what you are going through. We come together to offer each other support, resources, and a listening ear.
Bring your guitar, banjo, harmonica, mandolin, fiddle or rhythm instrument and join the fun at an informal jam session at the public library in Cashiers!
It's the moment children who are young and old have been waiting for all year!
The park is dark but there is a hum of excitement as people gather and share candy canes and hot chocolate waiting for the program to begin. It's coming together to share traditions of reading the Christmas story, singing carols and wait for it... Santa arrives and Lights the Park with millions of twinkling lights! There is a sense of magic at the first blink of twinkling Christmas lights and that magic will happen at Kelsey-Hutchinson Founders Park.
Evenings set amongst the softly lit trees of the park, joy and laughter from the ice skating rink, it's all available for you throughout the holiday season.
Come take photos with Santa in the Park!
Known as the “Cheers” of Bookstores, the Bookworm in Highlands is affiliated with the Hudson Library: all books are donated; all staff are volunteers; and all funds go to help support the library. More than a retail store, we are a community service offering carefully sorted donated books to provide the best quality at a used bookstore price.
