This Thanksgiving, Cashiers-Highlands Humane Society honors the Adopting Angels, donors, volunteers, and staff who make their lifesaving work possible. From heartfelt adoptions to the unveiling of a new veterinary clinic, CHHS celebrates 38 years of compassion and community.

As part of its fourfold mission, the Cashiers-Highlands Humane Society highlights adoption during National Adopt-a-Shelter-Dog Month, sharing the story of Clyde—a gentle, loving dog still waiting for his perfect match.

Each summer, the Cashiers-Highlands Humane Society’s Critter Camp empowers young animal lovers to become tomorrow’s ambassadors for kindness, compassion, and community—one paw print at a time.

The doctor’s in the house! The planned CHHS Veterinary Clinic will offer a new level of care for publicly-owned pets and the shelter’s residents.
