“To stand out of a crowd of 18,000 archers is tough to do. However, both Zoe and Kendalyn shot new personal bests at Nationals. Zoe earned 282 points (out of 300) and Kendalyn earned 279,” Coach Buck said.

Lace up those Chucks! Chow down those carbs! It’s Summit Charter School’s Cinco De Mayo 5K Summit Bear Run, set for 6:00 P.M. Friday, May 5.
Thanks to generous community support, Summit High School’s graduating seniors will be presented with $214,000 in scholarships and opportunities.
The Summit Charter School Foundation is excited to announce that its inaugural Festival of Trees will open on Thursday, November 26 in the Summit Center at 370 Mitten Lane, Cashiers, NC, 28717. The festive fundraiser – accessible virtually and in-person – will run through Saturday, November 27. Event hours for the public are 10:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
Summit Charter School is delivering on the promises made 25 years ago of offering an educational experience that develops students to be academically prepared, strong in character, and engaged in their community.
Non-profits, businesses, churches, and individuals are encouraged to get involved in Cashiers Festival of Trees. The deadline to submit a participant form is August 15. Some of the organizations already signed up include the Blue Ridge Free Dental Clinic, McKee Properties, Four Seasons Hospice, The Bascom, the Boys & Girls Club of the Plateau, and Cashiers Farmers Market. For those interested in decorating a tree, but are not sure how to get started with a design, the Foundation provides a list of themes, as well as local designers to assist.
March 21st will be supporting the Summit Charter School.
